Adversarial journalism:

These days’ journalists are being highly criticized of being biased, of doing yellow and mission journalism. They say, Journalism is just a PR work for its donor and sponsors. In this situation, adversarial journalism is the most important reason for journalism to exist which keeps the citizenry well informed about the activities of the other three “estates”: the judicial, legislative, and the executive.
Adversarial journalism is a style of reporting similar to investigative reporting, especially related to coverage of governmental activity that leads to exposes of wrong doing. Actually adversarial journalism mainly focuses itself only on the wrong work of the government and criticizes heavily even the slightest mistake of the government.
